She excellently executes everything from highlights and balayage to tints, and always considers the grow-out phase ensuring that–somehow–your color wears well as your roots come in. She effortlessly creates beautiful hair color and enjoys the freedom of expression a career in hair allows.

Q: Why Hair?

A: I chose hair because of my desire to be in a career field where I can actively showcase my creativity.

Q: What’s your approach when you first meet a new client?

A: I am always friendly and courteous, it’s an opportunity to meet someone new, as well as the beginning of what I hope will be a great relationship.

Q: What questions do you ask?

A: I like to get a baseline of where my new clients are with respect to their hair, what they’ve done? What products they’ve used in their hair? What they are trying to accomplish? This is my opportunity to truly understand what their needs are to see how we begin our journey.

Q: What’s the most fun part of your job?

A: The most fun part of my job is being able to use hair as art and knowing I have a supportive team by my side while doing it.

Q: Most Challenging?

A: The most challenging part of my job would be my consistent desire for perfection. I want my clients to look incredible so every opportunity to cut, color or style matters.

Q: What do you love most about being a stylist?

A: At the end of the day it truly is being able to satisfy each clients beauty needs, of course there is that instant gratification when they leave your chair looking absolutely amazing.

Q: Who is your style icon?

A: My style icon is Halsey, a singer-song writer, who is always trying new colorful clothing trends and who also uses her artistic side to create her own unique hair and makeup looks. 

Q: What inspires you as a hairstylist?

A: As a hairstylist I am inspired by all types of art forms, I love seeing the creative works of others, it fuels my creativity as well.

Q: You’re originally from?

A: I am originally from Augusta, GA.

Q: What attracted you to Charleston?

A: Charlestons beauty, charisma, and up-and-coming trendy aesthetic is what first caught my attention and the catalyst for my move to Charleston.

Q: If you could style anyone, who would it be?

A: If I could style anyone it would be Kylie Jenner because of the massive influence she has on today's beauty culture.
